L’Oréal Paris kicked off the summer season and skin cancer awareness month (May) in Miami with a celebration of the It’s THAT Worth It Campaign, a public health call-to-action urging women of all skin tones to prevent melanoma by using sunscreen and to help save lives by supporting cutting-edge research for a cure.

Lili Estefan, Candela Ferro, Ana Maria Canseco, Lourdes Stephen and Real Housewives of Miami Lisa Hochstein and Marysol Patton joined L’Oréal Paris and Dr. Flor Mayoral were a few of noteworthy names who were a part of the celebration and initiative to increase awareness about melanoma. Media personalities and influencers who were present signed up on ItsThatWorthIt.org for the May 20th Thunderclap, lending their social reach to the cause and sending a synchronized message through social media telling the world that they are all committed to stopping melanoma through prevention and research.
